Nripendra Narayan Memorial High School (Bengali: ) (commonly known as NNM High School) is the oldest educational institution in Tufanganj subdivision. It is located at the center of the town and of historical importance regarding the education in pre-independent India. Admission to secondary section of the school is restricted to boys only. However, the higher secondary section admits both the boys and girls. With more than 1000 student strength it is one of the biggest schools in India.〔 The school showed a consistently high success rate in Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations, often reaching cent percent. In 2006, the school set an all time record in the history of higher secondary examination.
